Broker's Comments

Designed and built for the Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, this is one of originally five Morgan Giles 43's which were used for training cadets through the 1960's and '70's. She's now one of the four surviving and they are all ashore together on the Isle of Wight.

Although she may look like she has fallen on hard times the hope and general opinion is that this is cosmetic. A refit in 2019/20 saw her fitted with a new engine, electrics and electronics and she appears to be complete.

The Morgan Giles Heritage Project holds drawings and historic information which they are happy to share. We are still putting together more recent history on these beautiful yachts and so all questions (and answers if you have them!) will be welcomed.
